If we believe something, it is real -- at least to us. Devoutly religious people, for example, have firm beliefs and are convinced they are real.

I think your teacher wants <I>your</I> answer to this rather than ours.

However, think about this. Your knowledge of the world is limited by your senses and previous learning. This determines what you think of as real.

However, our senses have limits and can be fooled, and previous learning varies from person to person.

that acually hard because now im thinking of all that stuff that i believe in and im starting to doubt if its acually real!
but it depends...because in my opinion its easier to believe in oxygen than religon even if i cant see oxygen im not sure if im make much sense.....i guess....i do believe in wut i really belive is real.
