Question

A necklace is 60 centimeters long and the beads on the necklace are 50 milliliters apart. How many beads are on the necklace?

Surely you don't mean 50 milliliters. Surely you mean milliMeters. 50 mm = 5 cm. That makes it easy to calculate IF the diameter of the beads are less than 5 cm. I hope this helps.

Don't make the same English grammar mistake I just made. Diameter is singular so it should read IS less than 5 cm.

50 millimeters apart? Isn't that 5 cm apart? That is a very long distance for beads.
