how come..if you cut it horizontally how could it still be a circle?
Apologies for the confusion in my previous response. When a cylinder is sliced vertically, the resulting 2D figure is two identical circles.
If sliced horizontally, the resulting 2D figure would be a rectangle, not a circle. Thank you for pointing out the error.
