A silver bar 0.125 meter long is subjected to a temp change from 200c to 100c. What will be the length of the bar after the temp change?


You have to look up the coefficent of linear expansion for silver.

New length= originallength(1+deltaTemp*coefficent)

where deltatemp= 200C-100C
