2. Waves can be transmitted through materials such as air, water, and glass. For instance, light waves can pass through a clear glass window, allowing us to see through it.

3. Waves can be transmitted through a material when they pass through it with minimal absorption or reflection. On the other hand, waves can be reflected when they bounce off the surface of a material, changing direction.
