I would change it to base 10, do the multiplication , then convert back to base 12
1B7 = 12^2 + 1(12) + 7 = 286
29 = 2(12) + 9 = 33
289*33 = 9537
9537 = 5(12)^3 + 897
= 5(12)^3 + 6(12)^2 + 33
= 5(12)^3 + 6(12)^2 + 2(12) + 9
= 562912
1B7 = 12^2 + 1(12) + 7 = 286
29 = 2(12) + 9 = 33
289*33 = 9537
9537 = 5(12)^3 + 897
= 5(12)^3 + 6(12)^2 + 33
= 5(12)^3 + 6(12)^2 + 2(12) + 9
= 562912
