Can you help me balance some equations? I tried and failed several times...
1. calcium hydroxide + phosphoric acid yield calcium phosphate + water
2. copper + sulfuric acid yield copper(II) Sulfate + water + sulfur dioxide
3. hydrogen + nitrogen monoxide yield water + nitrogen
Thank you SOOO MUCH

A good place to start would be writing the formulas of each compound. THEN start balancing. For reaction #2, your reactants are Cu and H2SO4 and the products are CuSO4 and H2. That's an easy one; it is balanced already. The SO4(--) from the acid joins the Cu, and the H2 is released.
Cu + H2SO4 -> H2 + CuSO4
Cu + H2SO4 -> H2 + CuSO4
