The Imperial Crisis was a time when the Roman Empire had lots of fighting and problems causing trouble for the emperors. The crisis made the Roman Empire weak and more vulnerable to attacks from outside groups. This made it easier for the barbarian tribes to invade and eventually led to the fall of the Roman Empire.
