What is the ionic and net ionic equation for Na2CO3 + 2 HNO3 -> 2 NaNO3 + H2O + CO2 (g)
This is what i have so far...
Na2(aq)+CO3+H+NO3 -> Na+ NO3+ H2O(l)+CO2(g)...
i don't know what to do!!!

ionic:
Na<sup>+</sup>+CO3<sup>-2</sup>+H<sup>+</sup>+NO3>sup>-</sup> -> Na<sup>+</sup>+ NO3<sup>-</sup>+ H2O(l)+CO2

Net ionic. Notice you have Na ions on each side, NO3 ions on each side, so they are spectator ions.

CO3<sup>-2</sup>+H<sup>+</sup> -> H2O(l)+CO2

CO3{2_}+H{1+}=H2O+CO2

ionic:
Na+ + CO3-2 + H+ + NO3- --> Na+ + NO3- + H2O(l) + CO2(g)

Net ionic: (NO3- and Na+ cancel out on each side)
CO3-2 + H+ --> H2O(l) + CO2(g)
