My Favorite Sport

1 Some like the thrill of a ski hill,
flying at lightning speed,
while others prefer a gentler sport
because they have no need
5 to set their heart pounding
and their blood pumping in their veins.
But me, I enjoy a special sport
that's best right after it rains.
Maybe "sport" isn't quite the word
10 to describe this pastime of mine.
You see, I splash in all the puddles,
and it makes me feel just fine.
There is really no decent substitute
for the pleasure that splashing can give,
15 which is why I will splash in puddles
for as long as I happen to live.
