At the beginning of the book, Josh came across as self-assured and a bit cocky, especially on the basketball court. Throughout the novel, we see him mature and become more aware of his emotions and the impact of his actions on those around him. Events such as his brother's health scare and his strained relationship with his father revealed his vulnerability and complexity, ultimately changing my opinion of him from just a talented athlete to a well-rounded and empathetic character.
