Hello,
Why dose hydrogen hasn't the characterize of the metals. Hydrogen stands in the first group of the product table A1. Although we know the elements of one group have similar propriety from each other. So, why there aren't any of hydrogen crystals ever?

Hydrogen does have some similar properties; e.g., it has an oxidation state of +1 as do the other metals of group IA. However, as is often the case, the first element of a series is different. Be and B are examples. As for crystals of hydrogen, it can be frozen but at a very low temperature. Being the lightest element on the planet, we might very well expect it to be a gas at room temperature.
