Write a paragraph about a situation where you or someone you know was affected by peer pressure? Explain what happened?

I remember a time when I was in high school and my friend group was pressuring me to skip class with them in order to go to a party. Even though I knew it was wrong and could potentially get me in trouble with my parents and teachers, I caved in to the peer pressure and followed along. As a result, I received a detention for skipping class and my grades suffered as a consequence. Looking back, I realized how detrimental peer pressure can be and learned to stand up for myself and make better decisions in the future.
