What is the easiest way to solve for x. (these are fractions, not dividing)

4/15=x/5 would I find the common denominator or cross multiply

and

x/3=x+10/6 same question

1) multiply each side by 5
2) multiply both sides by 6
subtract 6x from each side
multiply each side by -1
