A 25 kg object accelerates from rest to a 0.45 m/s in 1.3 seconds. If the coefficient of friction between the object and the floor is 0.15. Find the force that can accelerate it.

I don't know how to derieve the formula for this one..please help..

FROM the FORMULA:
-netF=Ff-Fx

1 answer

Net force= mass*acceleration
You know acceleration (.45/1.3)
You know mass
friction= mass*g*mu
Force-friction= mass*acceleration
solve for force.
