Are you asking molarity and molality?
Molarity is #mols/L of solution.
Molality is #mols/kg of solution.

After reading this post several hours after posting, let me rephrase the molality. Molality is # mols/kg of solvent (not solution). Technically there is a difference and my first post is incorrect.
