One of the advantages is that acetaminophen is less of an irritant to the stomach than aspirin. If you want more detail then the main undesirable side effects of aspirin are gastrointestinal ulcers, stomach bleeding, and tinnitus, especially in higher doses. An other side effect of aspirin is an antiplatelet effect which may be an agvantage or disadvantage depending on the recipient.
I am not quite sure what you are after under 'advantages as an analgesic' as they are both used to relieve minor aches and pains, as an antipyretic to reduce fever, and as an anti-inflammatory medication, although the latter is less apparent in acetaminophen.
Acetaminophen also has an advantage in that it can be given at the same time as a number of other medications.
