A metal block of mass m is attached to the ceiling by a spring. Connected to the bottom of this block is a string that supports a second block of the same mass m, as shown in the figure . The string connecting the two blocks is now cut.What is the net force acting on the two-block system immediately after the string is cut? The net force is zero after the string is cut.
if the net force is zero, the acceleration of the cg is zero.
if the net force is zero, the acceleration of the cg is zero.
