For y = a sin x
'a' is called the amplitude. What effect does 'a' have on a graph ???

Please help if you can .

If you change "a" on a graph of a sin x, the peak-to-trough distance of the waves changes but the period and wavelength remain the same. A larger "a" means a larger amplitude.
