It is a proportion problem.
4 rotations in 3/4 hours
4 rotations in 45 minutes
? rotations in 60 minutes
When they are directly proportional, i.e. more time, more rotations, then you can cross multiply to get the answer:
Number of rotations = 60*4/45 = 5 1/3 rotations.
A rotating videocamera in the parking garage goes
through 4 complete rotations in 3/4 hour. How many
rotations will it make in 1 hour?
Would this be a two part solution?
