i am doing a report for school. and i need 250 words. nut i don't know if wordpad counts the words for me. isn't there a tool that counts the words for you while you type.

You don't want a tool that counts each word as you type.

Write your report.

Then count the words. I don't know about Wordpad, but MS Word will count them when you want.
