im practicing simplifing expressions and have been given (-9a-9)5. should i use disstributing rule if not please explain how i would have to do this problem. thnx

generally, I would consider a factored expression to be more simplified than an expanded expression
so your (-9a-9)5 is sort of a hybrid.
factor it further,
(-9a-9)5
= -9(a+1)(5)
= -45(a+1)
so your (-9a-9)5 is sort of a hybrid.
