what is the original question
The treaty of Versailles fulfilled thir hopes. Under the terms of treaty, Germany was forced to accept total blame for the war, to give up 13 percent of its trritory, and pay $15 billion for damage to Allied property. The German government signed the treaty because they had no choice, but the German people never accepted it. Most Germans felt the terms were unfair and humiliating. Economically, they suffered terribly as a result of the conditions imposed by the treaty. The bitterness and resentment that the treaty inspired indirectly paved way for World War 2.
