You need to make additional use of parentheses. I assume this is
[(1/4)^2/(1/2-3/4)] + 5/7.

i have to simplify and no it's 1/4)^2 / (1/2 - 3/4) + 5/7 .

ok. So I assume the 5/7 is in the denominator like this.
(1/4)^2/[(1/2-3/4) + 5/7]
(1/4)^2/[(1/2-3/4) + 5/7]
