I'm trying to solve (5x-4)/(5x+4)=2/3. I don't know how to get the x's on their own. I thought that the fraction would cancel itself out so it's -1x, but that wouldn't equal 2/3. Could you show me this step-by-step? Thanks!!!

cross-multiply
3(5x-4) = 2(5x+4)
15x - 12 = 10x + 8
5x = 20
x = 4
