A patient doesnt want her violent boyfriend to know she is having an abortion so she asks her Dr. to send all communications to her post office and to phone her only at work, What should the doctor do and what is the lagel basis for the advice? If she tells the doctor that not doing this will endanger her, how would your answer be different?

The doctor must respect the patient's privacy and follow her directions. It doesn't make any difference whether the doctor thinks the patient is in danger or not. Medical information is private and can only be divulged to the patient or specific people designated by the patient.
