What if there are no parentheses in this problem: 2*10/5+6?

If there are no parentheses, then we don't really know how to read the problem.
My first thought is to read it as 20/11.

In algebra 1 it is easy to think of it as Parentheses, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract or PEMDAS and you do your problems in that order.
