in a GIVEN DAY THE MILL TURNS OUT THREE TIMES AS MANY UNITS OF PLYWOOD. IT PROFITS OF $25 ON A UNIT OF LUMBER AND $40 ON A UNIT OF PLYWOOD. HOW MANY OF EACH M UST SELL TO MAKE PROFIT OF $14720 can anyone help im so confused

a normal working day the mill makes 3 times as many units of plywood as they do lumber.profit of lumber is $25 profit of plywood is $40 how many of each must be sold to obtain a profit of $14790

then the number of plywood units is 3x
then 25x + 40(3x) = 14790
solve for x
then the number of plywood units is 3x
then 25x + 40(3x) = 14790
