I am confident that I can describe three basic life processes carried out by plants, including how these processes depend on each other. Throughout this unit, I have learned about photosynthesis, respiration, and transpiration in plants. I understand that photosynthesis is the process of plants converting sunlight into energy, respiration is the opposite process where plants release energy, and transpiration is the loss of water through their leaves. I now have a better understanding of how these processes work together and support the overall survival and growth of plants.
