plz help me to do this am not sure of my answer;th point (x,y)is transformed by the matrix(5 -1)
(2 1) to (19 9).find the value of x and y. as answer i got4 and 1.

That is correct if your matrix is
5 2
-1 1

The way you wrote it I at first assumed 5 -1 was a row, but it must clearly be a column for the point to become (4,1)
