CAN SOME ONE JUST HELP ME HOW TO START IT OF PLEASE..

The foundation for a cylindrical water tank is a cylinder 27 ft in diameter and 3 ft high. How many cubic ft of concrete are needed to build the foundation?

The volume of a cylinder is found by using this formula:

V = pi * r^2 * h

Can you take it from there?

Ok so can you please check if I did it correct

v=pi*r^2*h
v=pi*27^2*3=2187+3.14=6867.18 ft^3 and if I round it of to the nearest tenth it will be 6867.3 ft^3

Engineers usually use diameter, which is a measurable quantity physically.

"27 ft in diameter" means radius = 27/2=13.5 ft.

Please try again with r=13.5 ft.

Well you see in my math work it ask me to use 3.14 for pie. and the answer that I got was one my choices so I'm assuming that I did it correct
