What strategies do you use for revising a paper?
How do you know when to accept feedback from another source? What makes
feedback valuable to you?

When I revise a paper, I let it sit unseen for a day or two. Then I read it slowly aloud to see if it makes sense.

I accept feedback from another source if it seems rational and intelligent.
