    no.  You are not changing fractions...
-2/5=-4/10
-4/10 -7/10=?

    -3/10 or just 3/10 ok that is what I am not doing correctly I am not changing the fraction nor changing to common denominators... ok thank you

    it is -11/10.  Why? Think on that.
