substitute in what you can from the info you are given

in this case change 'A' to 'D+E'
this gives us D/D+E =0.35 & D+E/E

see if you can take it from here

or in

A=D+E , divide each term by A

A/A = D/A + E/A
1 = .35 + E/A
.65 = E/A
E/A = 65/100 = 13/20
Then A/E = 20/13
