Find the coordinates of the missing endpoint given that S is the midpoint of line RT.
T(-4,3), S(1-,5)
How do you work this out?

the the endpoint be R(a,b)
you should have learned that if (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are any two points, then the midpoint is
((x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2)
so (-4+a)/2 = 1
and (3+b)/2 = -5
solve the first equation for a, the second for b
