what is a good alternative to evaporated milk?
i need to use it in a bread, and i don't have it

is it ok if i just use regular milk?

If you use regular milk, you'll need to boil it to get rid of about half of the water.

Correction -- SIMMER not boil the milk.

I would use milk, and add enough additional flour to kneed properly.

Evap milk substitute: 2/3 cup powerdered milk, 1/2 C water.

oh, thanks guys..i just looked back at this post today..way after i already made the bread

p.s. the bread turned out very good with just regular milk
