a can of soda contains 40 milligrams of sodium. how many cans woild it take to concume a gram of sodium?
I tried working, not sure if correct -help

That is a good start.

Each can contains 40mg of sodium, so, as you found out, each can contains 40*0.001 =0.04g of sodium

If you want 1g of sodium, divide 1 by 0.04 to get the number of cans.

1/0.04 = ? cans
