How would I express what is below in the exponential form of an equation?

Let x = 1og_2 1/8

In general,
log<sub>a</sub>a<sup>b</sup>
= b
Also,
a^log<sub>a</sub>b
=b
So applying these two rules to each side of the equation,
2<sup>x</sup> = 2^log<sub>2</sub>(1/8)
2<sup>x</sup> = (1/8)
You can choose one of the two forms that fits better your choice of answers.
