I need to check my work...

estimate the following products or quotients

17 11/12 divided by 6 1/10
The first step I did was convert to improper fraction then I multiplied after changing the reciprical, and then I multiplied the numerators and then multiplied the denoninators and then changed to mixed fraction in lowest terms the answer I got was
2 343/366

is this correct?

I don't know if I would call that an estimate. I would have estimated three.

I think the key word is estimate.

17 11/12 is almost 18.
6 1/10 is just over 6

18 divided by 6 = 3.

I didn't go through your arithmetic but when I see the word estimate, I think the questioner wants an approximate answer. For that I would round 17 11/12 to 18 and round 6 1/10 to 6, then 18/6 = approximately 3. Since we rounded UP to get 18 and DOWN for 6, the answer should be a little less than 3, perhaps 2.9 are about that.
