Personal Goals:
1. I hope to improve my overall health and wellness by adopting a healthier lifestyle and making healthier choices.
- I think it will take me approximately 6 months to a year to achieve this goal.
2. I want to manage and maintain a healthy weight.
- I believe it will take me around 3 to 6 months to reach this goal.
3. I aim to be completely tobacco-free and promote a smoke-free environment.
- I anticipate it will take me about 1 to 3 months to achieve this goal.
I will re-evaluate my progress towards these goals every month to see if I am making consistent progress.
Specific criteria to ensure I am on the path to achieving my goals include:
- Regularly engaging in physical exercise and maintaining a consistent workout routine.
- Adhering to a balanced and nutritious diet, ensuring I am consuming a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains.
- Avoiding situations and environments that promote or tempt me to engage in unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking or excessive alcohol consumption.
Three steps I need to take to reach these goals:
1. Create a personalized exercise plan and commit to working out at least three times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes per session.
2. Educate myself about healthy eating habits and plan meals in advance, focusing on incorporating nutritious ingredients and avoiding processed foods.
3. Seek support and guidance from healthcare professionals or support groups to assist in quitting tobacco and maintaining a smoke-free environment.
Two things I have learned from this course that will help me achieve these goals are:
1. Understanding the impact of unhealthy behaviors on overall health and wellness has motivated me to make positive changes in my lifestyle.
2. Learning about the risks associated with tobacco and the benefits of a smoke-free environment has increased my commitment to quitting smoking and promoting a healthier living space.
