The equation that represents the linear relationship between the x-values and the y-values in the table is y = 12x - 1.
Choose any two points on the line y= m x + b
For example (1,1) and (3,13)
slope = m = (Y2-Y1) / (X2-X1) = (13-1) / (3-1) = 12 /2 = 6
so we know y = 6 x + b
now go back for b
13 = 6 * 3 + b
b = 13 - 18 = -5
so
y = 6 x - 5
