How did you determine that the answer was "no" to the first one?
BTW. you were right.
For the second, what happens if you multiply your first equation by 2 ?
- So how many lines are you intersecting by solving ?
- Wouldn't any point that works for the first also work for the second ?
- How many points are on the first line ?
