Solve the following equations

a) 6e^-0.00012x
b) 2e^x/3 - 9 = 0

thank you very much

1 answer

a) is not an equation, check your typing

b) again, your typing is ambiguous
I will assume you meant
2e^(x/3) - 9 = 0
2e^(x/3) = 9
e^(x/3) = 4.5
ln both sides
ln(e^(x/3)) = ln 4.5
x/3(lne) = ln4.5
x/3(1) = ln4.5
x = 3ln4.5 , now use your calculator
