Program Mission Statement: The mission of BSE 4A students specifically the group 2 reporters in Contemporary World is to discuss global migration. The mission came up with addressing the types of migration, different criteria of migrants, and factors underlying global migration. This aligns with understanding the movement of migration and how it impacts globalization.
Outcome 1 ( You need at a minimum one learning outcome)
Outcome Upon completion of this course, Students will be able to apply their learning in analyzing and evaluating. Each student's level of learning will be evaluated formatively using a multiple-choice test. The ability of the students to recall the discussion on global migration is expected to be examined
Methods of Assessment - To evaluate and assess a student's learning, we use Formative Assessment to help identify areas where they need additional support. It is a test that is composed of 20 items of multiple-choice questions to assess lower-order thinking skills such as recall, comprehension, and application.
- At the end of the assessment students will take note of the Assignment that expected to finish at home.
Measures/ Levels
of Expectation - Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the course material by completing a written exam.
- Students will be able to communicate effectively with instructors and peers by asking questions and providing feedback.
- Students will be able to demonstrate their mastery of the course material by completing their Assignment or Activity.
After discussion a students will take an Assessment: “The test will evaluate the student's knowledge about Global Migration. The topic will have 20 multiple-choice questions about Global migration and its factors.”
- The result of their exam can classified as Exceptional ( 20 correct response), Above Average (17-19 correct answers), Good (15-16 correct answers), and those who doesn’t meet the Criteria may considered as Failed.
The assignment consists of 15 items, it will be graded for 2 points per item.To sum up, the assignment consists of 30 points. This kind of assignment will determine the understanding of a student about the topic that has been discussed.

The outcomes in this case show that the students performed well, with the majority of them obtaining above-average scores.

Use of Results for Program Improvement There are ways to use this data for program improvement even with assessment results that are above average.
1. Recognize the significance of consistently offering students who score in the "Exceptional" range (20 correct answers) stimulating opportunities. To keep them interested and motivated, offer them challenging coursework or enrichment activities.
2. Although the majority of students are achieving exceptionally, it's essential to focus on the 10% of students falling within the "Good" range (15-16 correct answers). Offer support and guidance to assist them in enhancing their performance and advancing to the "Above Average" category.
3. Share these outcomes with the students and motivate them to establish individual objectives for continuous enhancement, even within an environment of above-average performance.
4. Acknowledge the accomplishments of students who have achieved exceptionally high scores. Utilize their success as a source of inspiration to encourage others to aspire for excellence.
In conclusion, assessment results that are above average should be viewed as an opportunity to maintain a high educational standard, address students' advanced knowledge, and maintain an environment that encourages all students to succeed. There is always room for improvement and growth, even in high-achieving environments.
