Al+NO3^-1-->Al(OH)4^-1+NH3
can someone please help me get started on this redox balancing equation. I have a list of all the steps but I am stuck at the part where I split them into 2 separate half reactions,
Al--->Al
NO3---->OH4- + NH3
is that correct? or could it be:
Al--->Al(OH)4^-
NO3---->NH3
