"Firstly, I must know what brings a mighty warrior like yourself into my brothers Kingdom. My brother who is king" Lord Centbury declared, his voice commanding and filled with suspicion. "You belong to the Kingdom of the Mighty. Are you a spy, one of those who infiltrate these lands?"
Selo's mind raced, trying to piece together a suitable explanation for his presence in this unfamiliar land. He knew that his fate hinged upon the words he chose and the impression he made on Lord Centbury and his entourage.

Taking a deep breath, Selo met Lord Centbury's gaze with unwavering determination. "My Lord," he began, his voice steady. "I am no spy, nor do I seek to infiltrate your land. I hail from the Kingdom of the Mighty, it is true, but I am a mere traveler on a journey that has taken an unforeseen turn. I was passing through these lands, hoping to reach my destination, when I found myself ambushed by those adversaries you encountered. I assure you, I mean no harm to you or your kingdom."

Lord Centbury frowned, still suspicious of Selo's claims. "And what destination was this, traveler? Why were you passing through my lands?"

Selo took a moment to gather his thoughts. "My Lord, I humbly seek an audience with the King, your brother," he replied earnestly. "I carry a message of utmost importance, one that concerns the safety and prosperity of both our kingdoms. It is a matter of great urgency, hence why I was taking the shortest route through your territory."

Lord Centbury's gaze softened slightly, sensing a glimmer of truth in Selo's words. "If what you say is true, traveler, then why did you choose such a daring approach to overcome the wall? It hardly seems like the actions of a mere traveler."

Selo's eyes sparkled with a mixture of sorrow and determination. "My Lord, when my back was against the wall and escape seemed impossible, I acted on instinct and the will to survive. I never meant any harm or offense, I assure you. I was simply trying to protect myself and find a way to continue my journey."

Lord Centbury studied Selo intently, weighing his words against his gut instincts. After a tense moment of silence, he nodded solemnly. "Very well, traveler. I will allow you an audience with my brother, the King. If your intentions prove true and your message is as urgent as you claim, then we may find common ground and work for the benefit of our kingdoms."

Relief washed over Selo as he bowed respectfully to Lord Centbury. "I am eternally grateful for your understanding, my Lord. I will not disappoint you nor your brother, I promise."

With that, Selo was escorted out of the dimly lit room and into the grand halls of the kingdom, where his fate would be decided by the King himself. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that his journey through unknown lands might just result in an alliance that would change the course of history for both kingdoms.

"Firstly, I must know what brings a Lionton warrior like yourself into my brothers Kingdom. My brother who is king" Lord Centbury declared, his voice commanding and filled with suspicion. "You belong to the Lionton kingdom. Are you a spy, one of those who infiltrate these lands?"

Well still ti
ttered from his fall, Selo met Lord Centbury's gaze with an unwavering determination. He knew the importance of his next words, for his life and the potential consequences that awaited him rested upon them.

"My Lord," Selo began, his voice steady but respectful. "I am no spy, nor do I have any ill intentions towards your kingdom. I hail from the Lionton Kingdom, it is true, but I come as a messenger, not as an infiltrator. Our lands have long been allies, and I bring news and a plea for aid."

Lord Centbury's suspicious gaze softened slightly, curiosity mingling with caution. "Speak, then," he said, his voice a blend of authority and intrigue. "What news from the Lionton Kingdom requires such a daring journey?"

Selo took a deep breath, composing himself as he explained. "My Lord, the Lionton Kingdom is in grave peril. A horde of dark creatures has risen within our lands, threatening to overrun our defenses and plunge our people into darkness. We have sent messengers to seek aid from neighboring kingdoms, and I am but one of many who carry this urgent cry for help."

Lord Centbury's expression shifted, his eyes narrowing at the dire news. "Dark creatures, you say?" he murmured, contemplation etched across his face. "This is troubling indeed. But why should I believe your words? How can I know that you are not simply a clever spy, weaving lies to deceive us?"

Selo knew that mere words would not be enough to convince Lord Centbury. He needed something more tangible, something that would prove his honesty and demonstrate the severity of the situation. With a flourish, he reached into his satchel and produced a charred fragment of a once-great sword, its edges still pulsating with a hint of ancient magic.

"This, my Lord, is a piece of the cursed blade that the dark creatures wield," Selo said, offering the fragment to Lord Centbury. "Our kingdom's warriors have fought valiantly, their armor dented and their spirits tested, but this blade consumes all light and glimmers with the darkness that threatens to engulf us. I implore you, my Lord, listen to my words and join our forces against this common enemy."

Lord Centbury examined the charred fragment, its presence seemingly confirming Selo's words. A flicker of concern danced in his eyes as he handed it back to Selo. "Very well," Lord Centbury sighed, his tone a mix of defeat and determination. "I cannot turn a blind eye to such a grave threat. We shall rendezvous with the Lionton Kingdom and aid in its defense. This alliance shall not only secure our lands but strengthen the bond between our kingdoms."

Relief washed over Selo as he bowed deeply, gratitude flooding his heart. "My Lord, you have my deepest thanks. Our kingdoms shall stand stronger together against the encroaching darkness. May our blades strike true and our spirits never falter."

Together, Lord Centbury and Selo set in motion the alliance that would ultimately tilt the tides of battle in the Lionton Kingdom's favor. As they made preparations for the impending war, Selo couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope in his heart. The journey that had begun with perilous leaps and unconsciousness now led towards a united front, where bravery, loyalty, and the desire for a brighter future prevailed.
