I need to find the area of a shaded part. it is a square with a circle the measurements that I have are pi = 3.14 and 15 ft by 15 ft. I know to find the area of the square I take base x height but cannot figure out correct formula for subtracting the circle.
To find the area of a circle, multiply the radius squared (7.5 x 7.5 ft) by pi (3.14). Subtract the circle's area from the square's area.
