I wanted to know what arguments and counterarguments I can used for my thesis; While home value across the US is dropping, the city of Fayetteville in NC in ranked number 1 in nation.

I don't see how you can make arguments and counterarguments on statements of fact. Facts are facts and thus not debatable.

A thesis for an argumentative paper should state an opinion.

I reviewed the site and recognized your point my thesis was a pure fact, so how do this sound: While home value across the US is dropping, Fayetteville home values are believed to be soaring.

If it isn't established fact that Fayeteville home values are soaring (which is a judgmental word), then what arguments can you think of in support and in opposition to this statement?
