Victor Mastone wants to preserve a famous piece of Revolutionary War history. He hopes to find the remains of a British ship, the Diana. But it will not be easy. The Diana was set ablaze during the Battle of Chelsea Creek, when American colonists and British soldiers fought over the nearby islands. The surroundings have changed considerably since then. City officials brought in dirt to make the islands part of the mainland. Nonetheless, Chelsea Creek remains. Some part of the ship could be buried along the banks of the river.
