One prominent woman who played a significant role in the suffrage movement during the Progressive Era was Susan B. Anthony. She was an influential women's rights advocate, suffragist, and abolitionist. Anthony dedicated her life to fighting for women's suffrage and tirelessly campaigned for equal voting rights for women. She co-founded the National Woman Suffrage Association and also played a crucial role in forming the American Equal Rights Association. Anthony's efforts and determination helped pave the way for the passage of the 19th Amendment which granted women the right to vote in the United States.
